Doctor Manu was born in Bucharest, Romania . He obtained his medical degree in 1978 at the Medico-Pharmaceutical Institute in Bucharest . After working as an intern he started a degree course in Internal Medicine and later acquired a speciality degree in internal medicine. In 1983 he worked as a scientific researcher at the National Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics ( NIGG ) under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Ana Aslan, MD, Phd, founder of the first geriatric institute in the world. He participated as a clinician during the most extensive long term study of the ageing process in history.

In 1986 he was appointed as a Director of the Flora Clinic in Bucharest , Romania which was dedicated to foreign patients. He focused his attention on various methods for the prevention and treatment of the ageing process and degenerative diseases.

In 1990 he was placed in charge of the Institute Of Gerontology in Antalya , Turkey known then as the Aslan Institute. In 1991 he obtained his second specialty degree on Gerontology and Geriatrics in Bucharest .

From 1992 to 2000 he served as counselor of the Aslan Institute in Germany and for the affiliated centers of the Aslan Institute based in France , Spain , USA , Dominican Republic and Columbia . He also served as technical director of the Gerovital Institute of Panama City, Rep of Panama. During this period, he developed a progressive interest in different branches of alternative medicine, with applications to chronic degenerative diseases, including cancer. He studied mesotherapy, orthomolecular medicine and chelation therapy in the USA which increased his interest in naturopathic forms of treatment and developed his keen desire to study Homeopathy. His present method of treatment involves a complex use of different branches of naturopathic medicine including homeopathy, homotoxicology, herbal medicines, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and essential fatty acids supplements together with dietary, physical activity and life style recommendations. Physiological Regulating Medicine (PRM) integrates state of the art knowledge of homeopathy, homotoxicology, psycho-neuro-endocrine- immunology (PNEI) and nutritional medicine. PRM represents the synthesis of the psycho-somatic (homeopathy) and somato-psychic (homotoxicology) concepts. PRM codifies the view of the organism as neuro-immune-endocrine network regulated by mechanisms of fine control. PRM adds to classical homeopathy a new therapeutic concept of restoring physiology through communicating molecules such as hormones, interleukines, neuropeptides and growth factors prepared in homeopathic dilutions, at the same physiological concentration as biological milieu (GUNA method). This can be applied to a wide variety of conditions.
